April 29th was the last time we had an opportunity to clean rake 2, so John had asked for it to be in platform 2 if possible. It was, so John, Kath, Lawrie, Nick, Nigel, Roger C, Steve, Val and self made it and did the deed. No outside washer people available. Rake 1 also had a very quick tidy up before it went off on a test run for – 6880 BETTON GRANGE! So no pics of cleaned coaches, it’s the locos you want to see! (But that was a very nice compliment in the latest “Cornishman” for the cleaning team – much appreciated.
