Grace Tame has faced calls to be stripped of her Australian of the Year award after she chanted “globalise the intifada” which the NSW Premier has said incited violence against Jewish Australians.
Critics, including Jewish leaders and survivors, condemned it as inciting violence, while some defended ‘intifada’ as a call for resistance.
