The Telecommunications and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2025 has passed the Senate, expanding government powers to intercept calls, access private messages, retrieve stored data, and compel tech companies including Meta, Apple and Microsoft to assist in giving law enforcement broader surveillance access over Australians.

Greens Senator David Shoebridge attempted to remove ‘Schedule 4’ which would force big tech to comply. The bill passed 30–10, with support from Labor, Liberal and One Nation.
For those interested @DavidShoebridge was against this bill because of his Trump Derangement Syndrome but to be fair he wanted to remove Schedule 4 because US big tech companies could access your data, and he didn’t want that.
Also, a person who is not the direct target of an investigation can now have their communications intercepted, another concern he tried to address. And he wanted the bill to go to Committee before being passed but failed, so TDS but also kudos.
There is no one in that parliament or senate who is working for us. They are all puppets of globalists. All have sold us out.
In 2022, Obama gave a speech at Stanford Cyber Policy Center advocating sweeping censorship of the Internet. Now, Public has discovered the same Center last month hosted a secret meeting with EU, UK, Brazil, & Australia officials to plot global censorship — including of the US.
A government conspiring against its own people.
The government is there to represent us as Australians not to do what they want and take advantage of the role.
They are dogs who care only for their own hip pocket.
