‘Third world service’: Jacqui Felgate takes V/Line to task after ‘chaotic’ disruptions

Jacqui Felgate has taken V/Line to task after the chaos that unfolded on the Geelong and Warrnambool lines yesterday.

Buses replaced trains between Wyndham Vale and Waurn Ponds, leaving commuters frustrated, with some taking up to five hours to get from Melbourne to Geelong.

“It is a third world service, and in fact, on some days it’s even worse,” the 3AW Drive host said.

V/Line passengers Emily and Matt joined 3AW Drive to share what they experienced yesterday while trying to get home.

“It’s something that’s becoming very expected for commuters,” Emily said.

It’s bedlam…cutting the wrong wire???that contractor firm used by V/Line should be investigated via DOT….this caused massive knock on effect disrupting all the trains in and out and the day after still the line was out until late afternoon!
