Telstra outage & V/Line train system at a stand still!

All train services of V/Line delayed until father notice Telstra is down and train radio lost communication.

Trend emerges & climax is V/Line CEO is seen at 5A. It seem strange 15 min before boarding most the checks were completed Loco Haul cancelled.

A disabled V/Line Service on the mainline at Sunbury Stn after I saw a red signal ahead of the loco N460.

PA advises Swan Hill 07:38 Service is delayed 35 mins due to some technical issue

Tues was a dog’s breakfast,VN14 led by N458 was uneventful, but was heavily loaded on the return.

I am seeing unfold is the results of the failure of the V/Line’s and DOT poor policy of a “One Size Fits All” train design policy.

It was disjointed as not only the train comm issue was with crew and driver but it seem the PA on board the train was impacted too!

From my observation this case she was lucky as the train was not full to the rafters as being cramped.
