The State Government invested $31 million to expand the stabling facility at Bairnsdale to house two three-carriage VLocity trains overnight, which has enabled this change.
V/Line are now only running 3 car sets on some services between Albury and Melbourne and the snack bar (well you could call it that but it is worse) has not always operated.
