Heidi Murphy has reacted to the results of a recent Newspoll on the Suburban Rail Loop, and it’s “shocked” the 3AW host.
The poll put out the question on whether Victorians support or oppose the SRL, which garnered some surprising results according to Murphy.
“That I did not see coming,” Murphy said on 3AW Mornings.
3AW is terribly RIGHT WING with Jacqui Felgate constantly opposed to the project with much support from Tom Elliott. They both have never liked the project and never take the time to look at the reasons why it is wanted. The polling for the project has always been good but having said that voters wanted the Melbourne Airport Link over and above the Suburban Rail Loop.

Why would this be a shock?
There is plenty of evidence to suggest the project is needed and popular with the voting public. Ranked above the Westgate Tunnel and the North East Link.
3AW have been exceptional critical of the SRL and the Metro Tunnel since they were both introduced. The Herald Sun poll is supportive of the SRL project this should come as no surprise.
It only comes as a surprise to 3AW as they have been so negative.
Only negtive as there some odd user call move the railyard on X…..this user seem think it only her area which seems to exculsivly only impacted by those changes!!! And this person and their group is very vocal……
I had past experince living near a major rail corridor and airport flight path….people are used to train blasting their horn near crossings or passing by at odd hrs and plane fumes from the airport which newer comers bitched about the smell of it!!!
