To celebrate 50 years since Drax power station opened the Branch Line Society is to run three special charter trains around the Drax power station site.
In February, Chiltern Railway is to host a special train journey to bid farewell to its Mark III coaches, which date back to the era of British Rail. The trip will also raise money for the charity Railway Children.
The Branch Line Society is running a special train, ‘The Christmas Train’, on 19th December to Newcastle, to get Christmas off with a sparkle.
