British rail freight operator DB Cargo UK is claiming a first for the industry. Their north London freight terminal at Cricklewood has gone green, in a big way.
The car park at Harlington station in Bedfordshire, which is already partially closed off as a worksite, will close fully between Tuesday 23 and Saturday 27 December so that a crane can lower a new footbridge into place.
DB Cargo UK is boasting that it has created the country’s first ‘net zero’ rail freight terminal, at Cricklewood in North London.
