The Stephenson Steam Railway in North Tyneside is inviting visitors to enjoy a new hands-on driving experience, taking control of a classic British Rail Class 03 diesel locomotive.
Following its appearance at the Kent and East Sussex Railway’s July Diesel Gala, Class 205 Unit No 1118 will be remaining at the railway for the foreseeable future.
