As part of the Department for Transport’s Plan For Change initiative, they will be improving accessibility for disabled people on rail replacement coaches.
Trains between Gloucester and Chepstow returned to their usual schedule this morning (Saturday 17 May) after Network Rail completed five days of improvement and upgrade work.
In order to keep people off the tracks along the Durham Coast Line and the Bishop Line, Northern, Network Rail, and the British Transport Police have been working together.
