New Essex railway station opens ahead of schedule

Today, 27th October, saw the official opening of the new railway station at Beaulieu Park station on the Great Eastern Mainline.

Over the next May bank holiday, most of the East Anglia network will be open for passengers to explore.

Train operator Greater Anglia has announced its annual discounted ‘Spring Hare Fares’.

Parts of the Greater Anglia and c2c networks will be severely affected by engineering work over the Easter bank holiday weekend.

From later this month until early May, weekend services on the Greater Anglia main line and branches to Sudbury and Braintree will be disrupted.

Train services will be disrupted into and out of London Liverpool Street and in the Cambridge area until 5th January because of engineering work.
