In April 2023, Aerobility, a charity organization that since 1993 has been offering disabled people the opportunity to fly an airplane, launched the Virtual Aviation Experience (VAE) for people twelve and older. Since its founding, the ethos behind Aerobility has been to provide disabled people access to the magic of flight. Over the years, Aerobility has become one of the most well-known aviation charities throughout the United Kingdom and has garnered support and funding from the United Kingdom’s Department for Transport (DfT).
