After being battered and bruised by the combination of political unrest followed by the COVID-19-induced draconian lockdowns, Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific is accelerating its recovery in fine style. This week, the Cathay Pacific Group, which includes Cathay Pacific and HK Express, announced it surpassed the milestone of carrying more than 20 million passengers in 2023, compared to around three million in 2022.
