The Dassault Falcon 10 is typically referred to as the Dassault Mystre. This aircraft was developed by Dassault beginning in the late 1960s. Many customers wanted a small business jet with improved performance compared to one of Dassault’s earlier business jets, the Dassault Mystre 20. The program officially began in 1969, after Pan American expressed further interest in the application of a smaller jet. This light business jet would be derived from the Mystre 20, but include powerful new engines.
