Lockheed Martin has a famous product development shop in Palmdale, California, known as Skunk Works. From Skunk Works has come at least the XP-80 early jet fighter, U-2 and SR-71 spy planes, the F-117A Nighthawk, the F-22 Raptor, the F-35 Lightning II, and multiple stealthy uncrewed aircraft.
