East Midlands Railway (EMR) is warning passengers travelling on its Intercity route this weekend (Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October) that rail replacement buses will run between East Midlands Parkway and Leicester due to bridge demolition work.
1918-built Barclay locomotive, Ajax, has found a new home in the West Midlands after a fond farewell from its current home, the Isle of Wight Steam Railway.
Network Rail are on site carrying out emergency repairs to the railway line after a landslip closed the railway.
