Great Northern, the train operator run by Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR), took around two hundred schoolchildren from Hertfordshire to see the Christmas panto Cinderella.
In February, Chiltern Railway is to host a special train journey to bid farewell to its Mark III coaches, which date back to the era of British Rail. The trip will also raise money for the charity Railway Children.
