Essex train services to be affected by emergency repairs

This Sunday (28th September), emergency work to replace a faulty rail between Chadwell Heath and Shenfield will be carried out by Network Rail.

Commencing on the 18th May, Greater Anglia are increasing seating in services ahead of summer.

Parts of the Greater Anglia and c2c networks will be severely affected by engineering work over the Easter bank holiday weekend.

From later this month until early May, weekend services on the Greater Anglia main line and branches to Sudbury and Braintree will be disrupted.

Train services on between Colchester, Clacton-on-Sea, and Walton-on-the-Naze will be disrupted on two weekends later this month (November).

Greater Anglia has introduced new Ranger tickets on the ‘Mayflower’ and ‘Sunshine Coast’ branch lines in Essex.
