Passengers urged to plan ahead before festive season engineering works commence

London – Essex railway line to close for 16 days

Trains will not run between London Liverpool Street and Chingford in Essex for sixteen days in a row this summer days, as Network Rail engineers will be carrying out work to replace a bridge.

New names for London railway lines announced

In a major update to the Tube map, the lines will get new colours and new names, which, according to TfL ‘celebrates the city’s culture and history’.
