Hobsons Bay council has told the level crossing removal project authority (LXRP) to forget about using nearby sporting facilities while removing the Spotswood level crossing at Hudsons Road.
Councillor John Haddad, whose ward takes in Campbellfield, supported the motion, and said residents told him they did not fully understand what was being proposed at the former Ford site.
