This year has been an interesting one for JetBlue Airways, with the New York-based hybrid carrier having looked to fill the capacity gaps left by the demise of Spirit Airlines, particularly in South Florida. This has seen it grow a lot at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), but not without casualties elsewhere. Most notably, it cut 12 routes from John F. Kennedy International Airport between January and October 2026.
