As of mid-2026, Lockheed Martin has delivered 1,344 F-35s, most of which have been delivered to the US Air Force and Marines, as well as some to the Navy. Exports are a minority of deliveries, but still a substantial minority, with Europe being collectively the largest export market. Deliveries to European customers are now in full swing, with the continent now possessing around a third of the F-35s it collectively plans to purchase.
