The European Union Aviation Safety Agency ( EASA ) has certified the Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engine’s sub-types that will power the Airbus A321XLR. When it comes to the A321neo – and the entire a320neo family, this recent approval means that all aircraft in this Airbus narrowbody family are officially cleared for two engine options.
