One Nation Raises Millions in ‘Fire the Liar’ Campaign Against Albanese

The ‘Fire the Liar’ drive targets Prime Minister Anthony Albanese over perceived broken promises, like migration forecasts that overshot targets—528,000 in 2022-23 versus 235,000 planned—and real GDP per capita falling 0.49% since Labor took office in 2022.

Polls such as Roy Morgan show One Nation at 29.5% primary vote to Labor’s 26%, with Hanson planning ads in Labor seats.

Albanese called the funds dubious, but an independent audit confirmed them, amid Labor holding two-party preferred leads for now.
