That’s the scale of a new data centre campus just filed for planning approval in Clyde North, southeast Melbourne. The investment is a total of $1.1B.

It’s the first application of its kind the City of Casey has ever received.

It’s not the only one. Goodman filed plans for three data centre buildings in Truganina the same month. Another application landed in Mickleham, a site potentially linked to AirTrunk or Amazon.

Three applications. Three different corridors around Melbourne. All within weeks of each other.

Victoria now has 34 data centre projects in the pipeline eclipsing Sydney in capacity and development.

The demand for Mechanical PMs, Skilled engineers who’ve actually delivered at this scale is only going one way.
