On Wednesday, May 1, Bombardier officially inaugurated its new production facility that is located at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). The new manufacturing plant is the main production facility for all of the Bombardier Global variants, including the Global 5500, Global 6500, and the ultra-long-range business jet, the Global 7500. It will also produce the Global 8000, once the aircraft is certified, which is projected to enter service in 2025.
