The Bendigo Line reopens today after being suspended for several days after the recent bushfires crossed the rail line and damaged infrastructure along a 5.7km section of track between Ravenswood and Castlemaine, including a partial bridge collapse at Harcourt.
Great to see trains running again on this major trunk line. Sadly on a poorer note, V/line stopped running trains on the Echuca and Swan Hill lines stranding people when fires were not affecting those lines in any way. A very lazy operator.
