The Boeing 737 MAX 9 is the largest 737 MAX variant currently in service today, although it will be eclipsed by the 737 MAX 10 once that model obtains certification. With a length of 138 ft 4 in (42.16 m) and a maximum certified capacity for 220 passengers, the MAX 9 is among the largest narrowbody aircraft in service today. Despite the MAX 9’s excellent efficiency and passenger capacity, it has not sold nearly as well as the smaller MAX 8 variant.
