Telefonica sells Uruguay unit to Millicom

Amsterdam-headquartered operator group Veon completed upgrades to its unit Beeline Kazakhstan’s network using ZTE equipment, to support growing demand of connectivity in the country.

Hungary-based 4iG Group received backing from the North Macedonian government to launch its operations in the country, edging the operator closer to a commercial launch in the Western Balkan nation.  

The Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) announced Vietnam’s national average mobile data speed increased 40% from 38.69Mbps in March to 54.34Mbps in July.
