Earlier this month, Latvian flag carrier airBaltic announced that Chief Executive Officer Martin Gauss had stepped down from his position following a meeting where “the Supervisory Board decided on changes to the company’s Management Board.” This brought an end to Gauss’s 13.5-year tenure as CEO, which began in November 2011. He had previously been the CEO of Malev Hungarian Airlines.
