Boeing and NASA are mutually agreeing to pause development of the X-66A, according to an April 25 Seattle Times report and an April 24 Aviation Week report plus April 24 Air Current reporting. Although most of the project’s Boeing engineers are being reassigned to help with 777X and 737 MAX production issues, some will remain to work on perfecting the thin wing design at the core of the X-66A.
