Airlines operating the three Boeing 787 variants (the 8, 9, and 10) will collectively have an average of 1,160 round-trip long-haul flights daily in April, based on Cirium Diio data. The type is now so popular that more than one in four long-haul services is on it. Nearly three-quarters more such flights are on the 787 than the Airbus A350, which entered service four years later in 2015.
