Amid no fanfare, Delta’s first 275-seat, low-capacity, high-premium A350-900 entered commercial service on May 5. The aircraft, registered N520DN, operated its first service between the two crucial SkyTeam hubs of Atlanta and Amsterdam. Delta’s second 275-seater, N521DN, arrived in the US on May 3; it has yet to carry passengers at the time of publication.

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) is gearing up for a major change in its fleet. The Lufthansa Group member will be undergoing some modernization this year as it will accept its very first Airbus A350 into its operations. To mark the occasion, the carrier has crafted a special livery for one of these aircraft, which will instantly make it stand out from the crowd. Known as ‘Wanderlust,’ the unique paint scheme features various traditional Swiss motifs.
