Amid no fanfare, Delta’s first 275-seat, low-capacity, high-premium A350-900 entered commercial service on May 5. The aircraft, registered N520DN, operated its first service between the two crucial SkyTeam hubs of Atlanta and Amsterdam. Delta’s second 275-seater, N521DN, arrived in the US on May 3; it has yet to carry passengers at the time of publication.
