A twin-engine business jet built by Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI), the Gulfstream G280 demonstrates one of the most successful manufacturer collaborations in the world of private aviation in recent memory. Starting in 2005, US-based legacy private jet manufacturer Gulfstream (which is in and of itself a subsidiary of the General Dynamics corporation) began working with Israeli manufacturer IAI on a more advanced medium-sized business jet to follow up on its popular Gulfstream 200.
