American Airlines has indicated that it is ready to restart nonstop flights from the United States to Venezuela, positioning the carrier as the first US airline to return to the country since service was halted in 2019. The airline is set to launch daily flights, but the restart of service is fully contingent on government approval and the appropriate security assessments, which will be made by the airline.
