General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) and BAE Systems have successfully demonstrated new autonomous electronic warfare (EW) capabilities using the MQ-20 Avenger drone as a testbed. Notably, the drone was controlled remotely through a Link 16 network as the United States Air Force (USAF) seeks to develop new autonomous EW platforms.
