When it comes to major airlines in Australia, chances are, Qantas, Virgin Australia, and Jetstar come to mind but have you heard of Australian Airlines? The earliest iteration of what started off as a major Australian domestic airline merged with Qantas in 1992. Subsequently, its reboot was in service for four years before operations ceased.
