The livery design for the new Great British Railways has been revealed, and passengers will be able to have a look at the design for the first time tomorrow (9th December).
A week on Sunday (14 December), London North Eastern Railway (LNER) will introduce a new timetable that it describes as “the biggest uplift in rail services in more than a decade on the East Coast Main Line”.
Beginning a week on Sunday (14 December 2025), passengers in South East England will be able to pay their fares using contactless pay-as-you-go at thirty more stations. This follows 21 stations ‘going live’ with the technology in the region last month.
