The US-based data centre specialist Iren announced in June that it is planning to build the city-scale project near the Bundey sub-station, around 75 km north-east of Adelaide.
John Hill is chair of the SA Transport Action Group, and said that as the population grows in the hills, more transport options are needed to improve safety and accessibility.
