An international participant is safe and well after ejecting from their aircraft on Wednesday during flying operations, according to a statement issued by Defence.
The firm, based at Sydney’s Bankstown Airport, says Vertiia will be able to fly up to 1,000km with its 100kW hydrogen fuel cell powertrain. AMSL Aero has used more than 200kg of hydrogen in its functional test bed since it began trials in mid-2024.
The Queensland grants come after the federal government has so far poured more than $17 million into regional airports across NSW, Victoria and Western Australia, also as part of the fourth round of the Regional Airports Program.
