Israel Buys 25 More F-35s In $3 Billion Deal Bringing Fleet To 75

In an expected move, Israel has formally signed an agreement with the United States to acquire a third squadron of F-35, raising the number from 50 to 75. F-35s are becoming a core part of the capability of the Israel Air Force and are the most produced fifth-generation fighter jet in the world. Additionally, Israel is one of the top countries in the world operating the venerable F-15 Eagle family of fighter jets.
