The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) upheld the European Commissions (EC) approval of an aid scheme that the Spanish government set up during the pandemic, whose legality was challenged by Ryanair. The funds budget was fixed at 10 billion ($10.8 billion) and was valid until June 2021.
