Delta Air Lines is a key player in the transatlantic market, and the Atlanta-based SkyTeam founding member ranks second of the big three US legacy carriers (in front of American Airlines and behind United Airlines) when it comes to flights to Europe. At many of its hubs, it offers routes to multiple European cities, but not everywhere. Indeed, five US airports have just one Delta route to Europe.
