Since starting operations in April 2021, US low-cost carrier Avelo Airlines has carried more than 5.7 million passengers on more than 44,000 flights. Today, it serves 49 destinations across 23 US states, Puerto Rico and internationally to Jamacia and Mexico. On Thursday, it commenced operations from its sixth base, located at Florida’s Lakeland International Airport.
