An update to the Federal Register has established a permanent prohibited area in the vicinity of President Donald Trump’s New York residence at Trump Tower. This is to provide adequate safeguards for the president and in the interest of national security. The FAA has proposed adding the regulation to Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations, with the area necessary according to the United States Secret Service (USSS).
