Ethiopian Airlines is overwhelmingly the largest operator serving Africa. That’s no surprise, as its challengers are considerably smaller. Through the rest of the year, OAG data shows that the Star Alliance member will operate 14% of all flights to, from, and within sub-Saharan Africa. Due to the airline’s higher-capacity equipment, it has 21% of all seats for sale.
