Southwest Launches 1st-Ever Flights To Alaska: Here’s Where They’re Flying

The world’s largest low-cost carrier, Southwest Airlines, has finally arrived in the final frontier. The Dallas-based airline, which operates the largest fleet of Boeing 737s, touched down in Alaska this Friday, May 15, as the airline launched two new routes. Its first routes to the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC), WN will operate seasonally across the Northern Hemisphere summer season from Denver International Airport (DEN) and Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS).
