An incident that occurred yesterday saw a JetBlue aircraft return to Providence, Rhode Island, after reportedly striking a coyote during its takeoff roll. While the aircraft was inspected and then flown to its original destination, albeit with a bit of a delay, this indicated the risks and hazards that wildlife has within the environment of an active airport.
