It is not uncommon for air forces to operate business jets for military purposes. Global forces use private jets that are often customized to perform a variety of missions. On the other hand, it is rare for a military aircraft to be used as a business jet. In the 1950s, the French Air Force sought a jet aircraft to use as a trainer.
